We purchased this 1977 Ford F250 Hi Boy from Jim Fair in Garrett, Indiana who had performed an extremely nice rebuild on the truck, so when we took possession it was already in excellent condition. Jim had chosen early on to upgrade the truck to the '79 frontend, and we agreed with his choice and decided to leave it that way. We did however take it to the next level by stripping the frame rails, as well as both front and rear axles and refinishing them all in base Black. We added Bilstein 5100 series polished shocks as well as Polished Aluminum Differential Covers which helped brighten up the suspension. A complete custom 4 inch stainless exhaust system with Magnaflow Mufflers was polished to a mirror finish before being installed to complete the chassis' show look. New Energy Suspension Bushings and all Stainless Bolts and Hardware were used throughout the reassembly. The 460 Engine Block and the C6 Automatic Transmission Housing were both stripped, prepped and also refinished. All body jambs were then disassembled and removed to be resprayed in correct code base clear. With the work previously done by Jim and the detail work now finished to take the truck to it's current level, this Classic '77 HI Boy is without a doubt one the sharpest 70's era Ford's to roam the streets.
