THE TRUCK THAT STARTED IT ALL!! This 1977 Chevrolet 1/2 ton 4x4 was Jeff's first show truck build. Upon purchasing this truck in 1988, this stepside went through multiple teardowns, upgrades, and reassemblies, until reaching its status in these pictures taken in 1992. Paint finish inside and out was Gun Metal Gray Metallic with "Miles" of 80's era hand painted pinstriping. More of the 80's era showed up inside the truck with the interior being covered in burgundy and gray pleated velour. The chassis and the 9" of total lift were given the show treatment with boxes and boxes of chrome plated accessories, red bushings throughout, and even a few hundred "Old School" bolt caps. This cam thumping 350 was bolted to the original 4 Speed Transmission and both were extensively detailed. Tires and wheels also hold true to the 80's era with the truck riding on Mickey Thompson Baja Belted 35's and 15x10 American Racing Gamblers. During this time the truck was a consistent show winner including winning at the 4 Wheel Jamboree Nationals in Columbus Ohio in May of '92. Jeff sold the square body Chevy in August of 1992 to Ancil Cross in Jackson Ohio, who still owns the truck today.
